Field expeditions and investigations
Led by an honorably retired 21-year U.S. Army 8th Special Forces veteran and BFRO certified investigator with over 15 years in the field. Join Northwest Ohio Squatcher's as we explore hot zones across Ohio, gather credible witness evidence, and conduct disciplined night investigations in the wilderness.
What we do in the field
Every expedition is built on military precision, methodical field research, and proper BFRO protocol. From interviewing eyewitnesses to multi-night surveillance in remote timber, here is how we operate.
Witness interviews
We respond to public sighting reports to conduct detailed on-site interviews, collecting official statements, accurate timelines, and GPS coordinates.
Evidence documentation
Our team tracks physical footprints, logs distinct wood knocks, records hollering vocalizations, and captures high-resolution photographic evidence.
Multi-night campouts
When an area produces active sign, we set up field camps for several nights to conduct nocturnal listening watches and field surveys.
Scientific discipline meets real wilderness adventure
All confirmed data and logs are forwarded directly to BFRO Headquarters. When hot spots demand deeper technical surveillance, we coordinate with regional specialists and advanced equipment teams to take our field research further.
Military-grade tracking standards
Founded in Lima, Ohio, Northwest Ohio Squatcher's combines elite Special Forces navigation and survival expertise with 15 years of BFRO fieldwork. Our expeditions maintain safety, rigorous situational awareness, and respect for nature while searching for authentic signs of Bigfoot activity.
